Challenge
Create a type specimen book about any typeface that is based around the umbrella topic of science. No imagery may be used and everything must be made from type.
Solution
I decided to highlight the font "Caslon" for my type specimen book, and from using a mind map, I came to the theme of microorganisms. I focused on the idea that letters, as well as organisms, have parts like neck, body(main stroke), etc. All illustrations are made from Caslon and convey all different aspects of looking into microorganisms: the large species, looking under a microscope, and the parts of a cell.
